Game review

Pro Evolution Soccer is for those who prefer controlling the game instead of watching it. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 allows you choosing a team and switching between its players, and switching takes only a second. There is great graphics: players' faces are very realistic, so are those of soccer fans watching the game; you actually can see them get up from their seats and applaud. The score is shown on your screen the way it is shown when you watch an actual soccer game, which makes it very life-like. Whenever a user switches between the players, he or she can see the name of that player at the bottom of the screen. The rules and the terms of playing Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 are the same as stated by FIFA.

Game quirks

  • First touch feature;
  • In the game you can see faces of all the world-wide know soccer stars from all the major soccer leagues like Serie A, Bundesliga and others;
  • At the bottom of the screen there is a mini window (a map) that shows where exactly all the players are (not only players of your team, but players of the opposing team, too);
  • You can see the field from above or you can get down and watch the game as if you were on the field: just zoom in or zoom out;
  • Players can get injured whenever they fall;
  • Additional free-kick techniques are added;
  • Dribbling and defensive moves are improved which gives you more freedom;
  • Aiming passes and shots is now easier as accuracy is improved;
  • Many countries are introduced in the game, among them there are: Germany, Italy, Brazil, England, Sweden and Spain;
  • Ability to trap the ball.

Game minuses

Even though there is a better manual control, the game tends to lag a little bit.
