About the program

Pacemaker Editor is a program for mixing music files; it is generally used by music lovers and enthusiasts or those who want to become Djs one day. The program may seem a little bit complicated for beginners, but there is no need to search for a tutorial in order to learn how to use it.

  • Pacemaker Editor works with the most popular audio formats, such as MP3 and WAV, it also supports lesser known but quality formats: AAC, FLAC, and OGG;
  • It offers the drag and drop feature: you can combine tracks and make them overlap by simply dragging one track onto another;
  • Mixer allows importing music from devices and transferring it back;
  • Among editing features there are: fade in and out, add loops and filters, mixing, pulling, stretching, trimming, reverse play and, of course, special audio effects.

Program interface is user-friendly, not overloaded with unnecessary buttons and features. There are only 5 main tabs: File, Edit, Settings, Community and Help. In the File tab you need to select an audio file for editing, the Edit tab offers effects for editing, the Settings tab allows customizing the program, with help of the Community tab you can talk to other Pacemaker members and share your work, and the Help tab can be used if you have any questions about the editor. Pacemaker is divided into three sections: Mix List, Editor and New Mix - section that displays the composition you are working on. Six colored buttons on the left offer following options: X-fade, EQ, Filter, Fx, Loop and Reverse.
